SPRAY TAN PREPARATIONS

To ensure you receive the best spray tan in Austin, you want to ensure you are fully prepared for your custom spray tan. Below are our spray tan preparations.

  1. Preparation:

    • Shower, Shave, and Exfoliate:

    • Use oil-free products as directed to ensure your skin is clean, smooth, and ready for the spray tan solution to adhere evenly.

    • Exfoliation Tip: Focus on rough areas like elbows, knees, and ankles to prevent uneven color absorption.

  2. Pre-Tan Care:

    • Avoid Moisturizing:

    • Skip moisturizing after showering to prevent barriers that may interfere with the tan absorption.

  3. Day of Airbrush Tan

    • No Makeup, Perfume, or Deodorant

    • Refrain from using these products on the day of your airbrush tan appointment to ensure the skin is clean and free of any barriers that may affect the tan's development.

  4. Attire and Aftercare

    • Wear Loose, Dark Clothing

    • Opt for loose dark clothing to prevent rubbing off the tan.

    • Avoid tight clothing that may disrupt the development of the tan.

  5. Additional Recommendations

    • Avoid Water Activities while the tan is developing

    • Try to avoid activities that may cause excessive sweating or exposure to water immediately after your spray tan to ensure the best results.

    • Moisturize Post-Tan: After your initial spray tan session, it's important to moisturize your skin regularly to keep it hydrated and maintain your tan's longevity. We recommend a hydrating, alcohol-free lotion like NG's Hydrate, which is specially designed for spray tanning. You can find this lotion at 360 Tans. Using a lotion that is specifically formulated for spray tans will keep your skin looking healthy and prolong the life of your tan.

  6. FILL OUT THE DISCLAIMER PROVIDED TO YOU VIA EMAIL

    • You may fill it out in person. If so, we do require you to arrive 5 min early to avoid service delays.

By following these enhanced tips, you can help ensure a successful and long-lasting spray tan experience.
